Well, this is shaping up to be the finest "almost-Scottish" fire department West of Edinburgh! I'm expecting Shortbread at all of our musters, followed by a good game of hooligan football.
Speaking of which, the popular "Halligan" tool - a hard metal pry bar with a pick at one end used by firefighters for forcible entry - is now usually sold as a "Hooligan Bar". When carried nested with an Axe, the pair are referred to as a "firefighter's irons".
