The ones I'm familiar with have 5 total ports.
One on the back center goes to the rear axle.
Two on the side/top are inlets from master cylinder.
Two at about 45 degree angle on the front are for the fronts.

Thats the kind I am using on my 37 GMC and that is how it is hooked up, but what is the wire for, is it the brake light switch and if it is how does it hook up to brake lights
