I think if we're going to have a virtual VFD, then we obviously need to have officers. Not being a fire fighter myself, I don't really know how most VFDs are organized, but I assume they have a Chief, a Deputy Chief and a 1st Engineer. What other officers should we have on the slate?

My proposal is that to be eligible for office in the SVFD, you have to be a member. Membership requirements are that you have to own a Firebolt AND it has to be in our Gallery (;) ) OR you have to actually be a fire fighter (professional, volunteer or retired).

Term of office would be for one year, with the option that we extend to two years if the members so desire by a majority vote.

Once I have a logo for the SVFD, we will have shirts, etc designed and available in the Hoo Ya store.
