Thanks for the complement.
Sway bar..I had good brackets and I bought a bushing kit from JCWhitney. They were the poly type and did NOT work very well. I ended up getting the BIG bushings from JimCarter that fit right in the brackets. I was able to use the smaller poly ones from Whitneys. I HIGHLY recommend the entire kit from JimCarter and wish I had done it.
Cargo area...The plywood in my panel is in good shape. The bottom actually looks a little better than the top. On one of the pics you can see that the top "ply" of the plywood had worn and is a little ragged but the wood is very good.
Therefore, I've decided to get me a tube of liquid nail for my caulking gun and "fill" the places with it sort of like spreading on body filler. THEN I plan to cover it with a 1/4" sheet of Luan for a smooooth finish. After that I plan to cover it with some sort of fabric/rug/carpet/mat.
I've got the regulators cleaned and painted, the wing vents are apart and ready to reassemble, tires and rims ready, new handles, latches/strikers redone, almost all weather stripping is purchased and just so many other things going on that I can sort of see the end in sight. I still have some things to work out as far as getting the engine/steering worked out but that is about the only BIG thing left. Of coarse the grille, and such still has to be assembled as well as the other stuff. But its coming together. Its been a looooong 2 1/2 years!!
