46possum Wrench Fetcher 4 Joined: Jun 2006 Posts: 35 Sutter Creek, Ca	I want to swap my 4 speed 410(straight cut gear) out of my 1946 Stock Chevy 1/2 ton with a sm420 (synchro-mesh) out of a 1950 donor. The 420 is 2 inches longer, so some modifications are necessary. Anyone out there done this before? I would like to keep the torque-tube setup.
