I just did my Rochester single barrel off of my 1951 Chevy and it was a piece of cake. The factory manual was a great resource and I took plenty of pictures, but I didn't end up needing them. It's a pretty straight forward deal. Take everything apart, soak and clean, replace the wear items with the stuff that comes with a rebuild kit and put it all back together.
