Ok folks,
The 41 has the original Carter W-1. Yesterday I was pulling out of the driveway and it died on me. Fuel pouring from the carb. It used to weep a little but nothing much. I tapped the side of the carb a few times with a spanner and that solved it. I suspect it was a stuck float. I've been putting off rebuilding the carb basically because I haven't done one before. Mind you there have been a few thimgs that I hadn't done until I got this old Chev that I managed with you guys help to sort out ok.
Anyway rebuild time. Anything to watch out for. Any tips. I intend taking plenty of photos as I strip it down, for reference later. As always guys I'd appreciate any input.
