Ok, ran the truck last night, with and without the PCV valve hooked up. Only difference was i idled really high with the valve unhooked. I went to plug up the hole on the intake with my finger, and it almost pulled my arm down into the manifold, now thats suction! Anyways... IT DID NOT SMOKE. We ran it for about ten minutes and i ran it up and down the street with the valve unhooked from the intake and once with the valve hooked up to the intake. Now, i brought it back to the warehouse and my dad got in it and redlined the darn thing. Then it started smoking, but just a tad bit, not like Auschwitz as it had before. But, only way to know for sure is to run a compression test. Gonna do that today. But im wondering, just turn the starter for how long with the gauge hooked up?
