I pulled the front master cylinder off the 1957 Dodge firetruck and found about 1/2" of it had rust / heavy pitting in the bore of the cylinder from water sitting in the bottom of it. Truck is a 1957 Dodge K8-D8.
What I need help with is the part number of the master cylinder that the pedal pushes on. It is a different looking system with a front master cylinder, 2' piece of line to a rear master cylinder with booster. All the lines to the wheels run off the rear master cylinder.
Numbers I found on the cylinder are "EIS 39" piston diameter is 13/4", casting number P2 on the opposite side, "made in USA" but no other markings. Thanks for your help and I see a parts book in my future.
