Do they use stainless steel sleeves?
Brass sleeves are not as good as stainless, they can still corrode, and they wear more quickly than both cast iron and stainless. I have also heard that sometimes the rubber cups like to stick to the brass for some reason, and the brakes don't work, causing you to run into things...
The above advice is from three different folks I worked with who each had years of first hand knoledge and experience with brass sleeved wheel cylinders.
