Thanks for the info, I will clean up the engine and do a compression check. It came out of a very nice 1955 Belair that was being upgraded to a V8.

I will make a test stand and get the engine running just to make sure it is OK.

My original engine was good, but needed gaskets and cleaning. But I wanted to upgrade to the hydraulic lifters, and full pressure oiler.
