Take it apart. Once it is apart take the head and block and have them inspected. I took the cam, and crank in also. But use good judgemnet. After you find out what you need and don't need to get, then start having fun with it. Put it back together. You will learn alot about your engine and be proud of it if you can tell people you built it.
