I have a saginaw 4 speed with the 3.11 first gear and a 3 speed overdrive transmission. Now the question. Can I remove the tail shaft from the OD trans. and put it on the 4 speed?
Is this feasible? It looks as if it the bolt pattern is the same.
Has anyone done this?
What machining is nessary if any?
I thought I would seek knowledge before I rip into it. Is there any out there?
