Well, prying and grunting didn't work so I loosened the cylinder bolts and slid it off the shoes. That worked great and the hub then slid right off. The shoes were in good shape as well as the drum. I think the wheel cylinder just put to much pressure on the brake pads, rusted, and wouldn't back off.
