My front hub won't move but a 1/2" when I try to take it off the spindle. I'm positive that the brake shoe is a tight fit to the drum and the adjusters on the wheel cylinder appear to be rusted so I can't back them off.

I hate to spray anything near the shoes to loosen the adjusters. I've also tried prying with a screwdriver between the backing plate and drum. I also put the wheel back on and tried rocking that.

Can you unscrew the cylinder from the back and hope that falls down to loosens things up or would that really jamb things up? Any Ideas?
