Sorry for being cloudy on this post. I had went to take the truck for a spin one fine Sunday afternoon, and I noticed the fuel line going into the top of the carb body, where the fuel filter fits, leaking. I grabbed the wrench to tighten it up, and as you can imagine, barely into this task, I stripped the threads in the carb body. The repalcement part is longer and has self tapping threads that saved me nearly $225.00 One of the easiest repairs I've had in a long time.
