| | | | Joined: Mar 2006 Posts: 1,703 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Mar 2006 Posts: 1,703 | on the mid 70's 2 barrels an quadrajets there was a fitting made you could get a NAPA that replaced the carb inlet filter with this fitting that would self tap into the carb and fix this problem but then after the fact a good cleanin of the carb an a in line filter was needed ..Your post reminded me of a Bud that stripped out his carb on a 78 camaro..an fixed as said.
