I have a three on the tre transmission out of a 1954 chevy car. I bought it years ago not knowing the transmission would not bolt up to my 216 in my chevy 52 Chevy truck. I have the transmission out of my 52 truck and was looking at the gears and thought I would compare them to the car transmission. The gears from the truck transmission look just like the gears in the car transmission. Does any one know if the gears are the same? Can I put the car gears in the truck transmission housing and it work?
