Won't that look a little strange, with the clutch pedal going through the floor, and the other one hanging? Be sure and add enough reinforcement to avoid flexing the firewall when you step on the brake. It's not uncommom to develop cracks and noisy operation if the entire thrust of braking is carried on the relatively flimsy firewall sheet metal.
