On my '62 one ton,I'd love to run the 16 inch dual wheels I got,but they won't fit over these huge brake drums. Is there any other drums and backing plates that will fit this rear end that would be a smaller diameter? Assuming I get this challenge conquered,what carriers will replace the original;I think I was told one from a 71 3/4 ton would work and was available with a better ratio selection. This will have to be a low-bux kind of solution,so any money saving hints for this will surely be appreciated.
