I used the rust conversion system from Eastwood. I found that if you already have some rust, it works great in converting it and then leaving a zinc phosphate like finish that you then can paint. Just seemed to me that if I was gonna paint over some rust I might as well try and kill it off first. I think you will get the same results with all three but like Woody said, you cant beat the water based nature of the product. Ralph
