With the low compression of the 235, try turning the timming up a bit. I would keep going till I heard some pinging or it started to run bad, then back it down some. Set the idle mixture screw in a bit, it saves fuel if on the lean side, and lower the float a bit. It all adds up, but takes some time and a lot of drive time to get there. Joe
