Yes Denny, my mounting bolts are 8 inches center-to-center. The crossmember also has two slotted holes in the center, fore and aft of each other 1 inch-center to-center.

If you want a photo of that, just say.

BTW, I read somewhere recently that the braces were added because the supports were flexing and causing cracking in radiators. I can't recall where I read it so take it for what it's worth... something I read on the Internet.
