For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Mar 2008 Posts: 1,775 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Mar 2008 Posts: 1,775 | I went digging through the oil filter catalogs at the local farm supply store and found two different numbers for the oil filter on the 235. The only one that had a listing was Fram. It had a listing for cars and trucks. My engine is of the 58-62 vintage and is reportedly out of an El Camino, so I'm assuming I should use the car filter, right? Is there actually any difference between the two? Is one a higher capacity than the other? | | |
