Can't help you with the ID of your current transmission but suggest you do a search for W/C (World Class) T5's used in Camaro's behind the 305 engine. This transmissions rating would make it in stock form, only marginal behind a 350.
Several modifications to the shifter location and speedometer drive gear position are outlined in the "Hybrid T5".
