I've gone through my '51 completely: cab off, frame detailed, new brake & fuel lines, good-running diesel engine, new almost- everything inside & out. I just added it up. I have about another $4500 in parts, including paint, fabrication, dress-up goodies etc. Not to mention the hundreds of hours of my time.
This is all in hopes that I won't HAVE to go "under the hood" too often, since I can't afford to pay somebody to do it, now!
