The harmonic balance might have balanced off the engine but I do think it was balanced to match the crank (balanced with the crank).
No bolt was used, at least between 47-55.
If someone has drilled and tapped for a bolt (it has been posted often that a bolt from a 350 crank has been used), would you let us know if this can be done with the crank in the block. I would really like to do this on my 261 before I put the "front clip" back back on my Suburban.
