As stated by LONGBOX55, the Blue Flame Sixes were put in Powerglide-equipped cars, and all but the Corvette Blue Flame sixes had hydraulic lifters. Here is a Blue Flame 115 and the 1953 Blue Flame 125. Here is a standard 106 hp Thrift-King 1953 automobile 235.The 1955 Blue Flame Sixes in automobiles (not Corvettes) produced 123 or 136 hp. The 1953-55 Corvette Blue Flame Six had mechanical lifters and produced up to 150 hp. | | |
