I am finally getting ready to swing a 235 back into my Ol'58 Apache, after almost 8 years. I was told this engine was running when it came out of its original 59 Apache a couple years ago when I swapped a 350 for it. Since then, I have had it in my dry basement workshop.
At this point the engine is assembled and appears to be complete. I don't want to tear it down unless necessary.
I am planning to installing a complete new wiring harness in the truck.
What should I do to this engine before I put in my 58?
What should I do when I get it into the truck but before I try to start it the first time?
