Joined: May 2005 Posts: 8,878 | For that I would make the part of the clip that is broken and weld it to the remaining part of the clip without ever removing the springs from the truck. Weld a little at a time to not damage the springs.
If you have them out same deal, but then you may choose to make a whole new clip, or find one from a used set of springs or at a spring shop.
