well I know I have been lacking in the pics dept.
But a little update-
I put 40 miles on the truck today- a 23 mile run, then a 17. Running great- I forget to double clutch every so often on 3 and 4. (really needs it for four) I have a drip from the carter carb coming from a copper looking rivet or something on the bottom of the float assembly-
I also had to pull the float and re braze the top and bottom together and fill a crack- I will buy a new one when the opportunity presents itself.
Tomorrow I am planning more driving- maybe 200 miles- some quality time- but first i must do a steering adjustment- THings are running great- After getting all the bugs worked out so that she starts and doesn't flood from the bad float I changed the oil to rotella- So far so good- I have yet to put the bed on the truck- so just the front half is complete- except the floor mat- I might do that tomorrow before the drive-
still carrying the fire extinguisher just in case-
