This is a very timely post. I just did my valves last weekend using the "set the #1 intake & #1 exhaust .... then rotate one revoloution. I don't think they are quite right yet. I need to get my vacuum gage out and see what that shows. I think I'll have to try it again using Tony's method.
One question on using the vacuum gage, do I disconnect the vaccum advance from the carb and plug or do I leave it? I'll be using the port on the intake manifold for the vacuum gage. I would like to try to use the vacuum gage to check the valves, timing, ect. Thanks
