I hear ya cavebull.. But I have a tack installed on there and with my current set up I'm not doing 3600 rpm's at 60 mph.. I'm doing between 2900-3000 at 60 miles per hour.. Also, my rear end guy hooked up his own electronic tack and double checked everything.. So the tack I have is accurate.. Perhaps your math is off?
Also, on the Ecklers classic chevy trucks website I found a rear end conversion kit for $159 bucks.. According to this I can convert to a 12 bolt pumpkin that has a 3:08 R&P if I wanted..

Check it out.. I'm hoping this might be the answer.. Tell me what you think?

Anyway, my rear end guy told me that if I decide to go with a higher R&P that I should keep the size tires I have.. That's the only reason why I haven't stepped up the tire size yet..
