I agree with the value of the system. I went with the EZ because, being a wiring rookie, I wanted something to start with instead of trying to piece it together myself. I figure you're going to have to modify any system you buy unless you have a completely original truck, but then as moneypit said, you're going to pay through the nose for it.
I'll start a new post with specific questions I have on the harness as to avoid highjacking this thread.
