Depends on what you want for a finished product. Are you looking for a restored truck, a street rod, cruiser, work wagon? An original engine and tranny would be great, but you'd be limited to how hard you could take it out and cruise with it, and on the other hand, a 350/350 combo would be so easy, and you'd have all the power you could want. Parts would be a snap to locate. It's all up to you and what you want. Keep checking the forums and you'll find more help for any project you want on this site, and the folks are the bestest.
