This referred to both the general model of the truck and the size of the engine. In 1955 (at least) the V8 truck engines were called "Taskmaster". In that year, there were Thriftmaster and Loadmaster 235s, a Jobmaster 261, and a Taskmaster 265 (V8). | | |
