Hello, This is my first post here, so bear with me if this topic has come up already. My 41 Chevy 1-1/2 ton is in need of a new engine. From what I read on this site, a 235 is an easy swap.I don't have a 235 but I do have a rusted 66 Chevy pu with a rebuilt 292 and granny four speed. From what I can see, the 292 and tranny will fit in, but what about the pedals mounted on the original clutch housing?Has somebody found a way to mount the pedals when swapping housings?I'm a good welder and can make new engine mounts and modify the cross member if necessary.A drive shaft shop said they can take care of adapting the driveshaft for me.Thanks
