Dendo. The best way that I have found to determine drag link
angle is; Take a common yardstick and place one end of it
at the center of the bolt that secures the back of the front
spring to the frame bracket. Now place the middle of the
yardstick as close to the middle of the spring pack at a
point directly under the front axle. Then, with an angle-finder,
placed on top of the yardstick, read that angle. You should
try to get the draglink to achive that same angle from the
pitman arm foreward to the steering arm. You might have to
heat the steering arm slightly to achieve the desired angle,
and remember, if you do decide to heat it, let it air cool
naturally. Don"t blow air or water on it to hasten cooling.
