Todd: Boyd just tipped me off that one of his drag racing buddies from the track had his kingpins done at a shop that is an offshoot of Lordco auto parts here who I use anyway...
I had no idea they even HAD a shop that does work like this but apparently they do... I now have an address and contact info for them although as stated it would sure be great to find some way NOT to take the whole front end apart and just do the kingpins with the front end as it is... I guess we'll see...
As for "this weekend" I have no idea if that's when it will go down although I really hope so... however it's not my schedule I'm concerned with... it's all up to Dave and his schedule...
Mine is open and Boyd is out of town for a couple weeks for the marriage of his daughter, so it's just up to Dave this time around...
jdl: the shop in question JUST remanufactures and machines brakes and brake parts... they have done so for about 50 years as far as I know and as I said are very well known and reputable... it must pay to specialize because everyone knows about their shop and they're considered the best there is by most... they're also very reasonable...
