Take a look at the NV3500 as found in 4.3 V-6 powered full size and S10's, not the 4 cylinder, 91 and newer tranny.It has an intergal bell housing, but will bolt up to a small block V-8 or 250 type 6 no problem.However the bellhousing is set up for a hydraulic clutch and the tranny uses a electronic speedo drive which you will have to adapt somehow.The NV 3500 has a 300 lbs ft torque rating, plenty for your engine.They sell rebuilt online for around 1200 bucks, 500 bucks or so in a recycle yard.
