For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Feb 2006 Posts: 428 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Feb 2006 Posts: 428 | Hi Everybody, I just wanted to check my information on timing a 56 235. The info I have inducates that the BB should "float" at the end of the pointer under the strobe of a timing light. If the BB is above the pointer then that is advanced, and if it is below the pointer then timing is retarded. Where do you guys run yours? slightly advanced or dead on. I also have the octane selector set to 0. Thanks for any advice you can give me. Jimmie. | | |
