Mono-jets are bad about leaking between the throttle body & fuel bowl. sometimes tightening the srews will fix it. Put lock washers under the heads if it doesn,t have them. You can put a new gasket in without tearing it down if you are carefull. There are 2 different gaskets for them. Make shure you use the right one & get it in correctly. Dont give up on it. They are a good carb if you get it right.
