I have an engine my dad had rebuilt years ago by a super mechanic - very precise, very picky. Dad's been gone a couple years so can't help me. He always said it was an early 54 235, of the low pressure type. Is this possible? Would this have inserts or babbits? How can I tell? Any other insight would be greatly appreciated!
