AD,Thanks for the tip on the battery cables.Went today and bought a #2 36"long ground cable and went straight from the battery to the engine and left the braided cable from the engine to the frame.Drove the truck for about an hour until it was good and hot,parked on the top of a hill and shut it off.It cranked perfectly every time.Thanks a lot.
