I pulled my drums off my toyota 6 years ago, before I had new rims put on. I poof-canned them in the driveway and last time I had the wheels off they still looked good. 162,000 miles and counting. Im just finishing up the drums on the COE and plan on doing the same thing, I may use a high heat paint this time.
