215-85R16 is the corresponding size. However being one of the minority who still believes in bias-ply tires, last year I installed a set on my 49 half ton. Do I like them? Yes, very much. I drive about 2000 miles a year and my top speed is about 45. Would I do it again? In a heart beat.
The new tires are unlike the old. They do not flat spot over night, they run smooth but they do follow ruts in the road.
I have written about this before but I'll do it again. I bought radials for my truck but because of the narrow rim width my dealer was not happy about installing them. My rims also didn't have a safety bead whatever that is which also made him loath to install.
I have seen 215-85R16 on some trucks with narrow rims and to me they do not look right. Look like big donuts.
