I was throwing out the Mallory dual point and put the stock distributor with tha vacuum advance back in. Just to eleminate any advance curve problems.
No help at all, it was even runing bader.
Got the second new thermostat but it runs cooler without any.
Im starting to belive it is the radiator. But I never had a problem with the old 216 - the needle never tuched the 200 even on hot summer days, I can`t belive the 235 is getting that much hotter.
I have the 41 flywheel so the timing mark is maybe not correct for a 1959 235?
