I read where someone rolled their cab onto and old mattress without damaging it, I never tried it though.
I rolled mine on an old carpet then slid it to the back of the frame, spun it then tipped it onto my dolly. I did it twice by myself. I would recommend just getting a few helping hands over and lifting it off though. It was not the best hing I could have done for the cab or my back... fortunately nobody got hurt.
