They say necessity is the mother of invention. Well, I had no help and needed to remove the cab from the frames today. Here is a shot of how I did it.

I nailed together a couple of 2x4's and stuck it through the door frame. Took some experimenting to get the center of gravity right, but once I did, the cherry picker lifted it straight up. No strain!

Now on to the dreaded body work.
