Well, I think the starter is fried. It smells like mold/mildew and had moisture inside, plus it had I don't know how much crud inside. Using the manual I took it apart, and got about two inches of metal, rust, and dirt out. Going to order a starter and see about a 6v battery. Besides, it's not like the 12v battery I have is going to be useless if everything checks out in the 6v system. We can use it in the 85' Chevy.
